Thank you!
The first edition of the Goa Book Fair and Children’s Literature Festival has now concluded.
We thank everyone who made this possible and a success with a wonderful time enjoyed by all.
Presented by @ravindra_bhavan_margao in association with Publishing Next, the event was conceptualised and curated by the Margao (Goa, India) based @the_dogears_bookshop.
A special thanks to our partners @thebirdsandbeestalk and @cccacreative, our sponsors @penguinindia, @tulikabooks, CD Homes, @harpercollinsin, @goafudge, @wonderhousebooks and Goa Knowledge Foundation, and our programme associates @zeitgeistgoa, @bookwormgoa, @afpanjim, @rotaryclubmargaosunrise, Katharsis and @cosfestgoa and @quriousmind_goa. Together all contributed towards a fabulous programme appreciated by everyone who attended.
@joelr.sunshine manages the website keeping you all informed with what has been happening.
A big thank you to the many who contributed to our crowdfunding campaign. You convinced us there are people who believe in this cause.
We are also deeply grateful to the many people who made sure it all came together – staff of The Dogears Bookshop, the many volunteers, friends, and venue support staff.
We wanted to provide a platform for talented individuals to come forward and do their thing, while kids had a blast of a time appreciating the transformative power of books. We believe both happened, and it took collaborations on many levels to make it happen.
Now, we set our sights on the 2026 edition and on how we can work with our partners, collaborators, and sponsors to make it even better!
Our hearts are full, and we are indeed very grateful.
150+ Sessions. 100+ Speakers. 5 Days of Bliss.
